Privacy Policy

If you contact us. The contact form records your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the subject you pick and your message. It also stores a one-way hash of your IP address, which we use only to rate-limit the form — we cannot recover the address from it.

If you create an account. Your email address, and the name, phone number and delivery or billing addresses you add. An account is needed to save a project and to check out; browsing the catalogue and pricing a cabinet need no account.

If you place an order. The cabinets and configurations in the order, the delivery or pickup choice, and the payment record. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and never reach our servers.

If you use the AI design tool. The photographs of your space that you upload, the measurements and preferences you enter, and the designs generated from them. These are stored against your design run so you can come back to it.

If you allow analytics. Pages visited, actions such as adding a cabinet to a cart, and general device and approximate location information. Nothing in this category is collected unless you opt in.

To answer your enquiry, to hold your account and projects, to build and deliver what you order, to send transactional email about an order, and — with your consent — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers, each handling only what their function requires:

• Supabase — the database, file storage and sign-in that run the site.
• Stripe — payment processing. Card details go to Stripe directly; we receive only the result of a payment.
• Resend — sending transactional email such as order confirmations.
• Vercel — hosting and delivery of the site itself.
• OpenRouter — the models behind the AI design tool, which receive the photographs and measurements you submit to it.
• PostHog and Google Analytics — product and website analytics. Loaded only after you opt in.

Cookies that are strictly necessary — keeping you signed in, holding your cart, remembering this choice — are always set. Analytics cookies are opt-in: nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set until you accept. Where Google Analytics is used, advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals are switched off.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time: open your cookie preferences.

Order and payment records are kept for as long as Canadian tax and business records law requires. Account information is kept while your account is open. Contact-form messages are kept while we deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's own schedule and is cleared from your browser if you withdraw consent.

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deleting information tied to a live order may mean we cannot complete that order. Write to Hi@Cabintie.com and we will respond.
