Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about configuring, ordering, and receiving Cabintie cabinetry.
General
Is Cabintie only for contractors?
Cabintie is built primarily for contractors, builders, installers, and trade professionals who need a simpler way to source cabinetry.
Are the cabinets made in Canada?
Yes. Every cabinet is manufactured in Canada in our own facility and prepared for the job site before it ships.
Design & Customization
Do I need a designer to order?
No. The guided configurator walks you through size, finish, and material, so you can build an accurate order on your own. We also have an in-house designer to help if you need any advice.
Can clients review the design before ordering?
Yes. Share the configured cabinet list and specs so clients can review and approve the scope before anything goes into production.
Can I customize the size of my cabinets?
Yes. All custom cabinet orders can be tailored to your kitchen's exact dimensions. You can also choose the door style, finish, and interior material to create a design that fits your space and needs.
What cabinet styles do you offer?
Our modular system covers base, wall, tall, and corner cabinets. Each one is configured individually, so you can mix cabinet types across a room and still get a consistent look.
Can I choose different colors and finishes?
Yes. The configurator lets you pick the door and drawer front material, the panel colour, and the interior material separately, so the exterior finish and the inside of the cabinet can be specified independently.
Can I add custom storage solutions?
Every cabinet is configured with its own base type, hinge side, and finished sides, so you can adapt each unit to how the space is actually used and to which sides will be visible once installed.
Can your AI help me design my kitchen?
The AI Assistant can help you work through a layout and suggest which cabinet types and sizes suit your space, then hand the result to the configurator so you can price and order it.
Ordering & Pricing
Can I get a quote online?
Configure any cabinet in the shop and pricing updates instantly, giving you a project-ready quote without the back-and-forth.
How do I place an order?
Configure the cabinets you need in the shop and add them to a project. When the project is complete, check out from the cart. No account or showroom visit is required to build the order.
How much do custom kitchen cabinets cost?
Pricing depends on the cabinet type, dimensions, and the materials and options you select. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the configurator updates the price as you change each option, so you always see the cost of the exact specification you are building.
Is there a minimum order?
Yes. The minimum order is $500 CAD. If your cart is below it, the cart shows how much more to add before you can check out.
Installation & Delivery
Do cabinets arrive ready to install?
Cabinets arrive pre-assembled, labeled by room, with hardware included so they are ready for installation on delivery.
Do you offer installation services?
No. Cabintie manufactures and delivers the cabinets but does not install them. They arrive pre-assembled, labeled by room, and with the hardware included, so your installer can hang them the day they arrive. Contact us if you need help arranging installation for your project.
How long does delivery take?
Because every cabinet is built to your specification, the lead time depends on the size of the project. Your delivery timeline is confirmed with your order so you can schedule the rest of the trades around it.
Can I schedule my installation date?
Yes. Let us know the window you are working toward and we will coordinate the delivery so the cabinets land on site when you need them, not weeks early.
Do you deliver across Canada?
We deliver across Toronto and the GTA, including Toronto, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Newmarket, Aurora, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa, and you can also pick up from our workshop in Vaughan. Every cabinet is manufactured in Canada and prepared for the job site before it ships. Outside the GTA, get in touch with your project details and we will confirm delivery for your location.
